Within the frame of public sphere and rhetoric Karin Laansoo was sending out her 'open call' as one part of her curatorial residency project. She invited authors and volunteers to engage in her project by suggesting performances dealing with the many expressions of exploitation. A number of selected scripts were performed in Berlin.

Karin Laansoo is a curator and writer, originally from Estonia and currently based in New York City. After receiving her MA in Art History from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2002, she has worked as a producer and Gallery Manager in Tallin and in New York. In 2005 she authored an award-winning book, 22+ Young Estonian Artists. Since 2008 she has been the Director of Point-B an international artist residency in Williamsburg, New York. She also runs a single-work gallery called Monospace in her apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
