"DEJLIG ER DEN HIMMELBLÅ" The film is about a group and street theather Solvognen (network of approx 100 participants), that existed in Copenhagen/Christiania 1969-82. Characteristic it the activistic and polical tradition of theater groups from this period in Denmark. The film DEJLIG ER DEN HIMMELBLÅ is a documentary of Solvognens intervention in public space in 1974 with their "Santa Claus Army".The film is made by Jon Bang Carlsen. The "intervention" is to find between theatrical performance and political activist intervention in the public space or even a demonstation/parade. The theater group worked in other cases with a total scenery (total teater). Also in the case of the "Santa Claus Army" intervention, the audience, the preformers and , also real life (+ national traditions) around the performance fused into one event, there is no viewer, only particpants. |
