in action! Example invitation to artists (Click to view Word Pairs) You are invited to participate in the project among 20 artists and other cultural producers from Budapest! Each person is given one word. The word we chose for you is CONSUME (desire) (as opposed to RESIST ) Each WORD is an ACTION, i.e. the word "consume" is taken in context of "to consume", each word is a thing that can be or should be done. We ask you to write a text, which should be one page (A4) long. The submissions we ask you to do is not purely describing the word. It can instead be a starting point for a new idea, a proposal for a new work, etc. (please see an longer explanation below!) End of January: - Each participant will be given one word to use (words can be exchanged once, if it is not working for the person). The submission can also be developed collectively. - Since the time span required for doing this submission is short, there is the possibility of doing it in conversation with Lise Nellemann - using the internet program skype (skype name lisenellemann), the telephone +49 30 21803001 or over emails always marked Budapest, lise@sparwasserhq.de Submission deadline: February 24. All contact with Lise Nellemann should happen before this date, before the project is closed. March 2.-19. The result will be communicated as part of a public presentation in Trafo, Budapest, set up by sparwasser HQ. in action!    The submissions we receive are collected and put into a publication. The texts and the publication will be part of an exhibition. This call is a way to apply strategies from Sparwasser HQ Berlin to the local art scene of Budapest.
